G5 signs development deal with SkyZone Entertainment

G5 Entertainment has signed new development deal with the established customer of the company – SkyZone Entertainment, a publisher of mobile games and content. G5 is going to develop a game in a popular genre for SkyZone. The game will be powered by G5’s proprietary Talisman technology, and will be released in 2009. The project received codename Danielle inside G5. More information about the game will be available later.

Vlad Suglobov, CEO, comments: “After the slowdown during Q4 2008, we are now seeing more publisher activity towards starting new projects. G5 is getting more work, but at the same time we will continue balancing the contract development work load with the development of original IP games for PC Casual, iPhone, and other platforms to build up royalty-based revenue for the second half of the year.”

G5 signs AAA mobile game project with a new customer

G5 has landed a deal to develop a mobile game for the new customer -- a mobile game publishing arm of the leading media company. The game is targeted for late 2009 release and is based on popular animated TV series franchise. Codenamed Project Nicole inside G5, the game is powered by G5’s proprietary Talisman™ technology, and is developed for all major mobile and smartphone platforms. At the moment the company cannot disclose the customer or the brand involved because of confidentiality agreements.

G5 announces the availability of Free Version of Supermarket Mania at the App Store and Update 1.1 for the Full Game

G5 Entertainment AB, the developer of Supermarket Mania game for iPhone 3G, the original iPhone and iPod touch, available at the Apple App Store as paid application, announces the availability of the Free iPhone Version of Supermarket Mania. The Free Version lets the player try out three levels from the Full Game. The levels are set in two shops, and feature two types of customers. Upgrading to Full Game will open access to 50 levels set in five shops, seven types of customers, the ability to improve shops with over 20 accessories and upgrades, and full storyline. Full Version of Supermarket Mania for iPhone 3G, the original iPhone and iPod touch is available at reduced price for limited period of time that expires soon.

The Upgrade 1.1 of Full Version, which will become available in a few days, adds the support for German, French and Spanish languages, and provides extra hints before "Teens and Thieves" level which became a hurdle for some beginner players.

PocketGamer.co.uk gives Supermarket Mania for iPhone 8/10 and Silver Award

PocketGamer.co.uk, a leading European web-site covering portable and mobile gaming, has reviewed G5's Supermarket Mania iPhone game and awarded it Silver Award and 8/10 rating. Supermarket Mania is live at the Apple App Store, available for iPhone 3G, the original iPhone, and iPod touch

G5 Entertainment is glad to announce that on February 25, 2009 the adaptation of G5’s best-selling PC casual game Supermarket Mania for iPhone has debuted at the Apple App Store. Anyone with the iPhone 3G, the original iPhone, or iPod touch can purchase and download the game directly to their devices.
 
Supermarket Mania is so called “casual game” – a game which is easy to start playing, addictive, and suitable for short game play sessions.
